Louis Sloan MD

Dr. Sloan joined North Texas Infectious Diseases Consultants and has worked at Baylor University Medical Center since 1994. Dr. Sloan is board certified in both Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine and completed his fellowship and residency training at Baylor. Dr. Sloan has a special interest in transplant medicine, post-operative infections and HIV/AIDS research; he implemented NTIDC's clinical research program for HIV/AIDS and clinical trials for other infectious diseases. Additionally, Dr. Sloan serves on the teaching faculty for Baylor University Medical Center and sits on multiple medication advisory boards. Dr. Sloan has consistently been named Best Doctor by D Magazine for infectious diseases. Dr. Sloan is married with 2 children.

Mezgebe Berhe MD

Dr. Berhe joined North Texas Infectious Diseases Consultants in August 2005 after completing his Infectious Disease fellowship training at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia and his Internal Medicine residency at St Barnabas Hospital affiliated with Cornell Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Berhe also holds a Masters of Public Health Degree from VCU in Epidemiology. Dr. Berhe has extensive training in both tropical medicine and transplant infections. Since joining NTIDC in 2005, Dr. Berhe has been active in research as a primary investigator and sub-investigator for clinical trials.
